Hey guys, how you going? So, today I’d like to talk to you about my not-so-typical day… because it was not really a typical day… as I usually just work, and work and then work! But today I have not worked and I will tell you why in a minute. I have a guest, it’s a friend from Peru, he’s Peruvian and he’s here for a couple of days. So, last night we spoke till late and this morning I woke up at 6, which is more or less the time I wake up everyday, but today I woke up pretty tired, since I went to bed late. I drank my coffee, then I get ready to go to the national park with my friend. We got in the car. We drove some 40 minutes. We got there, to Noosa National Park, we wanted to park but my friend realized that he had forgotten his water bottle at home and of course you can’t enter the National Park without any water and we looked for a place to buy some water and there were no… unbelievable, there was not a single shop, a supermarket, there was nowhere we could by water. In the end he went to a shop where they make smoothies and bought himself a smoothie. Finally we got to the park. Such a wonderful day, very sunny, but also pretty windy, and it actually a bit cool. I had to wear my jumper. And, well, we had a great walk and we saw quite a few animals on the path. So, the first animal we saw was a turtle in the ocean, a gorgeous gigantic turtle Then, further down, we saw eagles… we saw a white eagle and then there was a bla… not back, brown eagle, anyway, the typical color of an eagle. And then on the beach there were tons of dead jellyfish, it almost looked like a jellyfish cemetery, there were hundreds. Then, on the way back, we saw a goanna, which, in case you don’t know, is a giant lizard, a very very cute one. And well, in the end we stopped at an idyllic beach, it really felt like being in heaven. The wind eased a little so we went for a swim, we sunbathed a bit, until I looked at the time and it was unfortunately pretty late. I had to go home to do what I am about to do. Besides this recording, I am about to start tea… marking the homework of my uni students and that’ll keep me busy for a couple of hours, or three… I don’t know. Anyways… That’s all for today. Please continue doing your shadowing practice. I know it’s not easy, actually, it’s pretty hard, but that’s exactly why it works and it will help you immensely. Bye for now, a hug, ciao ciao!
